Anyone interested in a fun run to a really cool car collection in Central Mass?
Jonathan Woodward is putting together a second fun run on Saturday, September 23rd (rain date Sunday, September 24th) which will be limited to 25 people. Please we ask if you went on this Fun Run in August, please give other members a chance to go on this one.
Option 1: One hour drive to a nice restaurant for an hour and a half lunch, then a 15-minute drive to the final destination.
Option 2: Meet at the restaurant for lunch then do the drive to the final destination, or
Option 3: Meet at the final destination to meet the rest of the participants.
Fun Run Details: Folks will meet at the Salem Cross Inn (www.salemcrossinn.com) on Rt 9 in West Brookfield, MA, between 9:30 to 9:45 am, Saturday, August 26th, and head out between 10:00 and 10:15 for an approximately 60 to 65 minute drive up some beautiful country roads along the east side of the Quabbin Reservior. (But you won't see it). We should arrive at the Old Mill Restaurant, Rt 2A, Westminster, MA (www.1761oldmill.com) around 11:15. Expect a yummy meal! We will plan on leaving the restaurant between 12:30 and 12:45 for the 15 minute drive to our final destination of 51 Morgan Rd., Hubbardston, MA, by 1:00 pm. Plan on about 3 hours to see everything!

Please be aware: This is a CHARITY EVENT! The owners ask for a $30 donation / person (more is ok, too!), as 100% of the profits go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation For Parkinson's Research. They are pleased to offer cold drinks (no alcohol) and some nice sweets.
Those going straight to Hubbardston can use GPS but be on the lookout for a special welcoming sign at the end of the driveway which is on the left hand side at the bottom of the hill. Drive out back- there is plenty of parking!
